Problem is, Real Madrid are on another stratosphere than us

constant cl winners, massive wages and nice weather

the weather here is going to be shit for the next 5 months and arsenal are not going to win anything

Hilariously Mbappe as a CF at Arsenal makes the most sense because of how direct Martinelli is and how if MBappe at CF drifts left it would allow Martinelli to make direct runs into the channel that opens up in the middle.

The problem RM have is Mbappe at CF drifts left, Vini is already left, and Bellingham can't make the direct CF runs he made last season because Mbappe doesn't drop back and defend so now Bellingham has to sit deeper.

But a front 3 of Mbappe, Martinelli or Havertz and Saka for us would slap with Ode, Merino/Rice and Partey behind because thats a midfield 3 that can defend and compensate for the lack of defending Mbappe does.

Could have been the next Henry for us.

One issue is Mfappe may be a busted product because he spent too long in a farmers league and didn't test himself at elite level

I think he ends up in Saudi before he’s 30

What a waste that would be, but you may be right.

Unless City and Real decide they want to swap Haaland for Mbappe.

Out of 14 games across all comps, he has 7 goals and 2 assists. Not bad production for a player that is with a new team in a tougher league. Though, not great either given his reputation. He's blown a number of chances.

3 of those goals are penalties.

They still count, of course, but 4 open-play goals and 2 assists in 14 games reads much differently.

For a player of his quality, surrounded by the quality of RM players he should be doing a lot better.

I think Mbappe will always be the type of player where he will do best when he is the main character, and that will never be the case at a RM/Barca style club.

Nelson to Iwobi to ESR for a goal. Offside by an inch. Sums up what might have been, doesn’t it.

A goal and an assist in 280 minutes of play is a decent return.

Reiss Nelson has been more productive than Raheem Sterling.

City off form and we off form too. Reminds me of the painful 2016 campaign when Leicester won.

First time City have lost 4 in a row since August 2006.

During that stretch, Claudio Reyna was starting for them.

I blame him for everything. Even stuff before he was a thing.

Italy diving to cheat a penalty against Australia 2006 world cup? Salt Bae.
Glenn McGrath rolling his ankle in the warm ups before a crucial ashes match that cost us the ashes? Salt Bae.
Stubbed my toe when I got out of bed today? Salt Bae.
    Everything wrong is Salt Bae.
