Yeah. They’ve been doing that all tournament. For Euros too I think. A disembodied yellow card icon is not very helpful compared to a red card icon which tells you they’re down a man. AND doesn’t take up valuable screen real estate like the “XXX playing with 10 men”… I can’t stand that.

That Mbappe miss at the end, if it was a WC or he was wearing a PSG shirt thats top bins, next Euro tournament maybe France might have to avoid telling him when the pre-competition friendlies end because he stinks in Euro comps.

    Mbappe is overrated

he’s gonna ruin the fro t line at Real Madrid

kronke should start saving for a vini move when he gets wound up by Donatello taking his space

I do wonder if Mbappe spent too long in the farmers league and won't make the jump now - his development might have stalled out

If Ancellotti can get Mbappe and Vini on the pitch at the same time and make it work, that's some wizard level shit. Everything I've seen indicates they occupy the same space.

Even if it doesn't work neither is leaving in a season. Its RM players will rot before they choose to leave.

But I expect Mbappe to play more out and out as a striker and utilize rotations around that left half space, so he can get the running start he favours. His off the ball movement is going to need to improve significantly though. But vini making a run from behind Mbappe who has just recieved the ball to feet is going to paralyze a lot of defences.

I do wonder if Mbappe is actually good enough - he's never played for a top club.

It shouldn't have been in question if he'd moved 3 or 4 years ago, but i do suspect a part of his development is missing

Mbappe is gonna have to change his game but he will be fine. He is not overrated, but overindulged.

They're both skilled enough to play through the middle, IMO.

I don't doubt the talent/skill of either one.

18’ Kane levels it from the spot. After Dumfries with a bit rash challenge. Debatable PK but I’m OK with it. 1-1

I haven’t been able to watch with full attention yet, but I’ll certainly take your word for that.

FWIW, through the first 18 minutes of the match, there's been 5 minutes of dead time. We're dissecting the minutiae of every decision in the match and calling goals off for fractions of inches, but stoppage time isn't anywhere nearly applied correctly.

23’ Dumfries makes amends? Was an amazing goal line clearance. I was sure that ball by Foden was going in.

Spain are going to defenestrate both of these teams.

Does that Foden chance count as a shot on goal?

32’ Foden hits woodwork. Reminding us of Yamal’s shaped strike yesterday. Just 5 inches too far outside post.
