I started a teleconference at the 70' mark, hoping Hungary might steal a point. Alas.

Should have been a pen against Hungary before the 1-0

    Third goal looked offside to
    Me but wasn’t checked

I’m watching France vs Germany. Shit goal to concede but in a side note, how good is Kroos? What a career and still a brilliant pivot at age 500

Absolutely agree. Physically they went toe to toe with Portugal and when they put the ball in the back of the net I was pumped only for it to be ruled, rightly, offside. I have no rooting interest for Hungary other than for the fight they displayed but I do have a huge rooting against Portugal and their United, City, and Liverpool connections, so after the pk I turned it off.

I saw that. A little squeeze on the neck and it goes away!

Also, Mbappe scored a great goal while the linesman waited 10 full second to call him offside

Rabiot's number goes up to sub off, he promptly sits down with a cramp.

    Suggestion

Pavard said later that he was probably unconscious for 10-15 seconds.

Great work by all involved with this one. No red card, no substitution, spraying him with water...just a joke.

It would be nice to have a Ramsey that is 8 years younger, without fragile hamstrings. His late runs into the box today were classic. Also a crucial last man tackle late in the game. He closed so quickly on the tackle I thought it was Daniel James at first.

Beat me to it. Earlier I estimated Arsenal’s chances at 5%, they a probably less than 1% now. I want that Italian midfield, their one touch passing on counterattacks is sublime.

It's a shame Ramsey never learned to play central midfield properly - but ironically in the drone ball era he'd be perfectly suited because he can score from his 8.5 role and is perfect for defensive pressures including high up the field,

Maybe he was just ahead of his time!

Or Wenger wouldn’t use him correctly even though it was obvious?

As in talks with a second potential manager breaking down over money issues? Hardly the best way to convince Kane to stay.

    2nd?

Not sure how many they have actually negotiated with but there have been atleast 4-5 rumored front runners

They may have had 4 or 5 frontrunners, but they were in formal talks with Conte and Fonseca, Conte wanted a bigger transfer budget and I suspect Fonseca was much the same.

Now they are going to try Gattuso who walked away from Florentina after he was just hired because of their transfer strategy.
