Good result against Leverkusen at home in the Allianz Arena...but can we keep it up on the road against Stuttgart? This match is huge because it pits the two clubs who are fighting for a european Champions League berth next season.

Winner will most likely get 3rd place so the importance of this game can't be emphasized enough. A draw is not good enough in this game.

Unfortunately it's an away game so that gives VfB a bit of an advantage.

I don't think so, 'cause the atmosphere in Stuttgart is usually pretty bad...

I have a good feeling about this game.I think we will win this.We put solid displays in big games this season although we struggled against the lesser teams

After having seen the match against Leverkusen in the Allianz Arena I'm not realy looking forward to this game. If we would play like this again... we would loose 4:1 or somthing like this.
It looks like Schweinsteiger won't play so we have our old problems... I have a bad feeling but I'm still hoping the best because we have to win. If we loose we will have to play UEFA-Cup next year what wouldn't be the biggest problem but the problem is the if we won't play CL we won't get any goor players for the next season...

Home advantage is home advantage. And in any case, this season has seen the atmosphere improve hugely in respect to past season, due mainly to the fact that the side has surprised so many who didn't expect us to be so high up. so atmosphere will exist for certain. The idea that Stuttgart has a bad atmosphere is anyway little more than an urban myth taken from sections of the 80s and 90s where the stadium was less than half-full most of the time. But anyway...

Anyway, now on the topic os this game:

It's definitely the biggest of the whole season for both sides, and the result could go either way. Bayern has the advantage of not having to play midweek like we do (Wolfsburg cup match). Our last game against Hannover was very unimpressive and we didn't deserve to win, but Bayern also didn't play particularly wellagainst Milan and Leverksuen.

A win for VfB would see us have a huge chance to hold on to the Champions League spot. A draw would see us remain slight favourites, while if we lose it will be very hard to imagine us still beating Bayern to third place.

I am notvery optimistic about thisgame, but there are still five days :)

Her english is not that great so give her a break. Geez! I knew what she was implying even though she made an error in what she was trying to say. No wonder some folks feel like they can't say anything on this board.

Hopefully Stuttgart will be too tired from their midweek DFB Cup game.

That and no Mario Gomez. And didn't Arthur Boka draw a Red in the last game? Oh wait - he's been suspended for the rest of the season:

Boka wouldn't have played anyway because Magnin will be back for this game after his yellow-cards suspension, but yeah, missing Gomez does not help us.

You misread his post. He's a Stuttgart fan and he's talking about them and not us.

GOLTV will be broadcasting this game on Saturday. After being on spring break for a week, I now have to get up early so that I can watch this game.
