Marc Overmars has been forced to retire because of a persistent knee injury.The Dutch winger who played for five clubs in his career first Go Ahead Eagles, Willem ll, Ajax Amsterdam, Arsenal, and Barcelona. Many Arsenal fans owe him a debt of gratitude for what he gave for us in our first "Double" under AW.Scoring 16 times that campaign and 1 in the FA Cup final against Newcastle.So, for also being an Oranje fan, it will VERY SAD to see such a great player for the Oranje side retire.He was capped 86 times for Holland and he gave it is all everytime.So Marc, on behave of all Oranje and Arsenal supporters (and the barca and ajax ones 2) I would like to thankfully for making the beautiful game more enjoyable and exciting to watch!!
