The first wave of the Transfer Windows additions to the premiership have been added to the FPL database.

Am I the only one that thinks the new transfers are too expensive? Evra looks ok but check out the price for Maniche.

I agree about Maniche. Same value as Essien? Funny, I thought Chelski paid less than half. I was hoping to snag Evra but with him already gone, had to go for Vidic who looks like a regular starter. Still need to replace Camara but I'm waiting before I make that move.

Sorry Lokomotiv but my troubled team needs all the help it can get...

Despite that Euro2004 goal, Maniche isn't exactly an attacking mid. They have to realize the effect of their own rule changes. An attacking midfielder who consistently plays, like Gamst-Pedersen or Nolan or Boa Morte or even Etherington, is worth much more than Maniche.

I think Maniche and Evra are priced to try and stave off a selling exchange.

As players added to the database are snapped up, their prices should rise if the price rise formula stays the same as before; hence the chance for an easy profit if they were priced too low.

Likewise, assuming the same pricing formula, Maniche's price is likely to drop once he starts being left out of the starting line-up.

Some fantasy managers might have sold off players who made a profit, to get Maniche, and their team value could end up worse off in a few weeks.

With N'Zogbia doing naff lately, Wes Brown no longer starting and Schwarzer wanting out of Middlesbrough we had to smash and grab regardless of the price; just like Mourinho does.

That's the beauty of making financial gains early on.

    :D

Maniche is definitely overpriced... along with every Chelsea midfield not named Lampard... just not enough minutes to go around!

Of course, dont get me started on how overpriced Arsenal mid's are this year...

vsrocks.com is again current as games near and the Kromkamps trickle into the database. Transfer away--and please tell me if your lineup is wrong.

And d*mmit, my brother got Evra! Meanwhile I have one star defender in Egypt and the other nursing a crocked groin.

The cookie chef played today, so it'll be Dickov vs. Bolton on Saturday is my guess. This is what I'm reduced to up front: gaming which Blackburn striker will get the minutes. :D

New rule: All Russian-based players coming in on transfer are the property of Forza, even if they played for CSKA or Lokomotiv.

Djangone claims all Danish, Welsh, Germans and Swedes. Even if his brother has the same lineage.

If they get them first, and if they're in the database. ;)

Well I would call you an AssClown but it does save me from renaming the DuffDome, the CrespoatleasttillIcanescapetheunculteredwastelanthatisLondonandeatpastaforbreakfastinapropertheatre does not have the same pizazzz; if his hamstring is healthy I think he will have a great run while Drogba is away.

RVP simply doesn't get enough minutes for this game. Of course now that I've dropped him, RVP will play every second of every game starting next week until the end of the season and average a goal or more a game. ;)
