    Perhaps a new thread will mark the revival of the Rockville Gunners.

    Despite pundits early predictions that the club would be in the promotion hunt from day one, the team has sat in a midtable position for the past few weeks. Crowds at The Nike-Sony- Hooters Stadium of Class are demanding better and rumors of a shakeup in management have begun.

    Week now finished, HogFanta would like to announce that it has thrown up an 83 pre-bonus with the possibility of 90, which is a pretty number, a very pretty little number that I'm sitting here caressing and cheek-pinching and chin-chucking and tying bows onto as I type. And a number that will never be seen by his team again, being as it only could've been luckier if Stalteri got a hat-trick.

    SwinePepsi's season-high last year was around 85, vegas2u likewise, in our little two-man league in which he murdered me on the season.

    The irony in all this is that Mr.Robinson just gave me 14 points, making him by far my best and most consistent point scorer. Hopefully Darius Vassell will have a good weekend against Everton at home... Reyes and Drogba are doing pretty well but my mid is lacking due to Hleb. I would consider a trade but it would be stupid if 2 weeks later he gets hot. Not to mention I have 5.0 in the bank!

    Would someone please post the link to the Very Small Rocks table at Fantasy.Premierleague.com? I could use it to check the intradivisional match-ups in the Rock Hard Championship and the weekly Olympic Cup gold, silver, and bronze medal winners. Thanks

    Another week = another series of crap bonus decisions. :rolleyes:

    Only Liverpool player with a bonus: X.Alonso :confused:
    I guess losing the midfield battle to B.City deserves 2 points.

    Hleb gets a bonus for holding the ball too long against the Hammers.

    Davies on WBA gets the rare losing squad bonus.

    Oh well at least I beat the Small rocks guy, "Captain Marvelous", aka 1800Worldcup. Take your "must win" and shove...well you get the idea. :p

    I can hear the muffled crowd;

    "Break Up (pause) (pause) Pork Soda"
    "Break UP (pause) (pause) Pork Soda"

    It gets louder;

    "Break Up (CLAP) (CLAP) Pork Soda"
    "Break Up (CLAP) (CLAP) Pork Soda"

    And louder;

    "BREAK UP (CLAP) (CLAP) PORK SODA"
    "BREAK UP (CLAP) (CLAP) PORK SODA"

    But what can we do ?????????? Faced with this overwelming side we must do our best "Charlie Brown." We turn and walk away, wondering what next the world will put upon us.

    We must vow never to refer to the team, its score or its manager again. Ignore the problem. That will work. At least until the #2 in the league is within 50 points. If a reference must be made, use the capital X, as Malcolm Little did.

    By the way X, are you coming to LV for Thanksgiving? It is Dad's 80th birthday party as well. We have discussed with him the idea of having a surprise party, but that is not what he wants.

    vegas2u / VegasVirgins

    OUT: Fabregas M AR 6.7

    IN: Kavanagh M WI 4.8

    Bank: 3.6

    Last roster with changes in bold:
    Diouf F BW 7.4
    Rasiak F TH 6.5
    Horsfield F WB 5.6
    Gerrard M LI 9.0
    Scholes M MU 9.5
    Rochemback M MI 6.5
    Davis M AV 5.1
    Kavanagh M WI 4.8
    Terry D CH 8.5
    G Neville D MU 6.9
    Hyypia D LI 6.5
    Mills D MC 4.5
    Campbell D AR 6.4
    James GK MC 5.0
    Carroll GK WH 3.5
    ??

    I like the kid, but he keeps dropping in value. Must have something to do with the fact that he does not score fantasy points. I can get guys who drop in value and don't score fantasy points for a much cheaper price.

    I hope V2U appreciates this transfer, because it's the ultimate long-odds bet. I'm not expecting much from Crouch this week against Chelski, and might even start him on the bench. But Rafa likes him, so I know he'll play -- and the boy's unmarkable. I expect even if he doesn't score tons of points, he'll at least earn me money.

    OUT:
    Morrison M MI 4.9
    Yakubu F MI 9.3

    IN:
    Francis M MI 5.8
    Crouch F LI 8.9

    So place your bets for Middlesborough's guaranteed 7-0 win on Saturday...

    Why, I feel like I've won a magnificent lottery, a lottery that pays...nothing! Oh, the heights of it, being #131 out of more than a half-million teams on the season, the heights...oh my, getting dizzy...the vertigo...can't handle it...it's all spinning...not built for such success...every move seems like a mistake...can't make mistakes...must not make mistakes...

    Hey! Lookie there! Harry Kewell is coming off the injured list! He's waay more talented than Joey Barton, and so boyishly handsome to boot!

    Stamford has decided to boycott the media in protest of the favorable bias shown towards fainting goats. And no one on the club would comment on whether Bellamy was obtainted to gain favor with those in authority who prefer goats.
