I made three moves (1 for gm28 and 2 early ones for gm29).

    It adds up to:
    Lauren, Jaaskelainen, and Bocanegra out
Newcastle's Taylor, Sorensen and Gallas in.

Lauren was injured and they have a tough run in. Bocanegra only plays half the games lately and the future looks tough for them too. Jaaskelainen dropped to afford the Gallas pickup and since his form and schedule is worse than Sorensen's at this point. Two top keepers (with Reina) is more than I need and was limiting my spending elsewhere. Taylor is a cheap pickup with decent form if he can stay in the side and I never wanted to drop Gallas so it was nice to get him back (if he can stay healthy). The double week for A.Villa and Arsenal helped convince me to pull the trigger. Of course this will somehow all fall apart and come back to hurt me like my past early in the week transfers usually have done. ;)

Having also picked up Hyppia this week I was considering Senderos for the double games..... but he so likes getting cards lately.

    Possibly.

However, there's a future talent, natural two footer, comfortable behind a striker in support or out wide on any wing, fast and a dead ball expert as well, that has two games in the gameweek as well :)

The kind of player we should have at Chelsea instead of SWP...but nooooooo, the twits in charge let him go to Villa instead

I wish they gave Wright Phillips a continued run in the first team, but it's just isn't to be. That's why he is misfiring in my eyes most of the time he steps out onto the pitch. I get really frustrated with such a waste of talent sometimes by Chelsea. But it's their choice... and it was SWP who wanted the money.

He needs a chance to blossom. You don't go to Chelsea if you're a player like him unless you really want to ride the wood if you're not immediately doing good. Personally I guarantee the fact that he would be doing better for Arsenal than at Chelsea, if you gave Wenger his shot. But hey we have Walcott, so it's all better know.

You also forget what position he plays in. He's a winger. His job is to create opportunities by dribbling at people. Of course he will lose the ball in those areas, I mean that is the attacking third.

Can't believe nobody picked up on the fact that Ash Cole is back playing. Plus I've realized that even though Simon Davies hit his peak with Spurs about 4 years ago, he's Welsh so Coleman sees him as untouchable. so...

The rest of the season will be a shameless grab for weekly medals, so don't be surprised to see a few 6-transfer weeks from me. Points penalties couldn't possibly scare me less at this point. I'll have to replace Larsson after this week, it seems, but the good news there is I already have Saha who should slot in, particularly now that Ole Gunnar is out.

Saw that and considered taking him after that game in the Chelsea reserves a little while ago but then I checked his record and price. Reading's Murty has more points, the same points per game, and cost 3.8 instead of 6.7...but good luck. :p ;)

On a related note...there is one player that has been in excellent point scoring form since the start of the year that nobody has picked up for reasons I don't quite understand. He doesn't work for my time (I'm in good shape at that position) but looking at the rosters of some of the other VSR teams I'm pretty surprised that he's been sitting out there all this time.

Saw it but I already have 3 of the finest in Blue and one day Jose and the rest of you lot are going to figure out Bridge is better, especially at crossing.

Corradi, was only brought in for the double gameweek, Viduka has been in fine form lately.

Still undecided if I'll lay of double transfers and concentrate on the league, it's so tight for that second promotion spot.
