SEVERAL MAJOR UPDATES ARE BELOW PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

The Union FO moved our section today. We are no longer above the Sons Of Ben. We are still upper deck but on the opposite side of the stadium.

TICKETS ARE NOT BEING REPRINTED. IF YOU HAVE A TICKET I IT WILL GET YOU INTO THE PROPER SECTION

    Section 233 into Section 209
    Section 234 into Section 210
    Section 235 into Section 211
    Section 236 into Sections 212 and 213
    Section 237 into Section 214

SECURITY ESCORT AND MARCH IN IS NOW AT 4:30 pm

CSC (imported from DC)/Police will escort the DC United Contingent into the stadium at 4:30 p.m. through the West Gate. Security will be enhanced and with such a large group if everyone tried to enter at 5:30 people would not make it in for Kick off. The time of the security escort and march in only changed today so sorry for the late notice.

    TICKET PICKUP

If you are on the Atlantic City Bus Trip or the Game Day Bus then your tickets will be distributed on the bus.

IF YOU HAVE TICKETS ONLY YOU MUST PICK UP YOUR TICKET BEFORE 4:30. If you do not you will have to walk to the Will Call Window at the Comcast Gate and pick up your ticket after we drop it off. I imagine that it will be a disaster area at Will Call so pick up your ticket by 4:30.

This might be kind of a dumb question but are traveling Barra wearing black or white?

I got a seating question. Are we doing General Admission in our sections or are we actually having (GASP!) assigned seating?

Most phones have video cameras built in. Does that mean no phones? I will be very pissed off if my phone gets confiscated at the door.

With all this security I assume that the President will be there to throw out the first pitch.

Now we just have to hope the Philly stadium security numbnuts get the memo. Don't forget, they're relative newbies at this soccer stuff.

I was up there with the Outlaws for a US game and the stadium asswipes we're nothing short of medieval in enforcing not only sections but seat assignments. Talk about killing the atmosphere. Sucked, big time.

From what Jay posted when he started this thread, it appears that we're bringing our own security with us:
They may be goons, but they're more accustomed to our particular brand of craziness than Philly goons...

I'm not sure how Philly security will react to a bunch of security from DC regulating in *their* stadium...although now that I think about it, a brawl between DC CSC and Philly security would be one of the greatest moments in the history of road trips.

Yeah, especially not with cooler heads prevailing, like in this match preview, the link to which I got from the Union FO's twitter feed:
Wow, what a great idea! Let's get hundreds of drunk supporters of our team together to meet the buses when they unload hundreds of drunk supporters of the other team! Nothing could possibly go wrong!

Nah, it will cut into drinking time to walk over. ;)

Glad the FO wised up for your seating location, that will make the match all the better. Have a good time; and yes, Philly security is worse than RFK.
