this is not confirmation of anything... anyone can receive a post-graduate scholarship and still be a professional athlete. craig krenzel received a post-graduate scholarship as well...and he still has asperations of joining some nfl team somewhere, it really has no bearing. but i have to believe despite the good story it would make; crew is no longer with the crew.
Yeah I think Crew was cut. He was down in Florida. I think he even scored a goal, however, he didn't make the trip up to Columbus to play UD and on the "roster in progress" Crew, Vercollone, and Haefner are all off the roster. I think that means they were cut.
I heard about Krenzel playing NFL. Can't see it myself. Couldn't see that Adom Crew playing for the Crew either. It was just too coincidental.
The Revs have room for Vercollone on their development roster, and he is from Massachusetts, so it makes more sense for him to be here. He can live with his parents instead of paying room and board on the measley DR salary....
