Empate 0-0 would make me happy here. Even at worse, a Chilean victory. Sorry DR, I'm just thinking ahead for my Seleccion, and you guys can 'afford' to lose some points!

I think Venezuela should becareful. On paper that is one of the best Chile teams I have seen. Rojas and Olarra are great defenders, Maldonado is doing great in Brazil, Melendez doing his thing in Argentina, Pizzarro is a wanted man in Italy, Navia comes from scoring 2 in the Mexican playoffs. This Chile team has a lot of players which are having great moments in their clubs.

Tapia; Rojas, Vargas, Olarra, Pérez; Maldonado, Meléndez, González, Pizarro; Pinilla y Navia.

    Talking seriously:
Why should any team be afraid of Venezuela?
    - We are going to take every single game seriously
    - We lost so many times that we know every single point counts
    - This is the best opportunity we have in 45 years to go to the World Cup
    - We are already tied in points in 3rd place, we know that we can do it
    - "La vinotinto" is a real team, all the players know what the goal is and are willing to do anything to make it to the WorldCup
    - "La vinotinto" knows that the whole country is behind them and dreaming that they'll make it to the World Cup.
    - All the players know that Richard Paez (coach) is the "commander in chief" and what he says is what goes even if is not the best decision (ex. calling to the national team Cari-cari and Ricardo David Paez = fans hate them)
    - After beating Uruguay 3-0 in their stadium (4th time they lose in WC qualifier/Copa America in their stadium and 1st time that a team beats them so bad) with all the stars that they have, Venezuela knows that we can make it.
    - All the years of humilliation, all the sacrifice from players that put on "La vinotinto" even when they knew that they were going be picking the ball from their own goal most of the game.

I can keep on going for hours. So don't feel bad if you hope that your team ties against Venezuela, because for Venezuela every game is a war.

The little Blue audio signals are for audio.

doesn't appear to have the VEN v. CHI in audio. But if you click on VENEZUELA - CHILE you'll get thier "minuto a minuto" feature. It may not be audio, but at least you can keep up with the PBP. Hope you know your spanish.

    not really!

yesterday I had the pleasure to analize at midnite the game ven- bolivia

the andinos had the game 1-0 under their belt up to minute 89....then comes a silly 'ball retention inside the area and the ecutorian ref. calls for indirect kick... lucky power shot ties the match

90 seconds later during injury time, a counter attack finds a strange ball bouncing on top of the corner of the 18yard line and arango takes a shot to end THE GAME.... the freaking ball hits the base of the post and IN... 2-1
3 more points, I do not agree with the let go of Pelao acosta.... that game was weir, not venezuelan good soccer over the poorest team in conmebol, sorry, Buy I had to see it on gol tv replays.....Lucky 3pts, not to mention the other goal by arango in barranquilla!

lots of rain at estadio Pueblo Nuevo en venezuela....

look close at the referee of this game: CARLOS TORRES FROM PARAGUAY, the bold headed that mess up couple of games in copa Libertadores (one of them is in the memeory of all mexicans from santos laguna)

minuto ZERO: al players are on the field!

    we have game!

chile goes with new kit (red and more white than before), black socks
the rain is less....but field condition will be important

look at this: chile beats bolivia en la paz 2-0
bolivia beats 1-0 for 89 minutes, venezuela
why not another sound game by chile, they are better visitors than homers!

    minuto 4: 0-0.....

the critcs call for conservative futbol by chile, as they only approched angelucci once in the first 45 minutes. They expect that, and see a different whole game for the second half

venezuela was very close at the end of 1st half

I got to go....is up to peru y Tu or zeekLT
