At the half, VCU leads 4-1. Delicate and Cephas each have a pair of goals for the Rams. Segares has two assists. First goal was scored 1:05 into the first half, then two more by VCU a minute apart about 20 minutes in. Bobby O'Brien has Tech's goal. If they hold on, it'll be the Rams' first NCAA tourney win ever. For those of you who can't make it to a game tonight (like me) here's the link to live stats: http://www.hokiesports.com/msoccer/live/
VCU wins 5-2. Cephas ended up with a hat trick and now has 17 goals on the season; Delicate has 15. Nice forward tandem. Look out for the Rams! VCU awaits the winner of IU-Kentucky; they'll play on the road if Indiana wins, at home if Kentucky wins. Go Wildcats!
Wow....the Hokesters take one right in the middle of the old bibs! Watching out for VCU would seem appropriate. John
VCU is a quality team. Very tough to beat, especially at home, and they will make you pay for your mistakes.
