I just saw the game last night on Gol. Valencia controlled the match. Real had very few chances until late in the game and seemed to be elsewhere mentally (probably in Turin). Valencia moved the ball well, Aimar played very well, Canizares was in top form, and I think we really should have walked away with three points. There were a few problems: I can't see why the new coach refuses to go with two strikers. Aurelio was worthless in the midfield. Mista and DiVaio should start together up front. Sissoko played well at the back but as the game got into the final stages he started to push forward and couldn't get a good cross in to the box to save his life. As I already said, we deserved to win this one. But let's hope the point against the second place squad and quality play provides a starting point for that push toward second. Take care.
