Varela looking for a new contract from Sporting.

O jogo reports tonight that Under 21 Portuguese International Varela contract will expire at the end of the year. So his agent is starting to talk new contract. But here is the catch the 19 year old who reminds everyone of Didier Drogba both in his looks and play wants to play in the superliga. He has 8 goals with Casa Pia and 2 with Portugal for total of 10. Benfica are you watching?

I believe Sporting is working on his contract. He has one year left on his current SCP contract.

I guess it will depend what they do with Niculae. Lourenco will be back as well. Saleiro also looks good playing for the Juniors.

It is a good problem to have. With Liedson and Douala who are still both very young and the players I mentioned above, I believe forward is a position Sporting might not have to worry about. Not to mention that they still might get Jorginho from Setubal.
