Anyone ever been to an away game here? Vancouver seems like a very scenic and beautiful place to visit. BC Place seems really nice as well (not SS specific however). I am considering maybe a last minute away trip but the fact that it's almost 5 hours away and an international flight so have to come back through customs kind of deters me from just going for the weekend.
I have before they moved to BC Stadium. Sat right in front and had fun "discussions" with the locals. Great place to visit in the summer - not sure it's warm enough to enjoy at the moment
Call-ups that may affect this game: Houston Boniek Garcia - Honduras Cubo Torres - Mexico U-23 Vancouver Cristian Bolaños - Costa Rica Kendall Waston - Costa Rica Blas Perez - Panama Tim Parker - USA U-23 Marco Bustos - Canada U-20 Marco Carducci - Canada U-20
I wonder if Maidana, and Barnes will be back for Vancouver. Traditionally a tough fixture for the Dynamo, and it will sting to lose our three best for that one.
If Barnes was healthy he would probably play for Jamaica. Although, I guess, they would want to be sure of him before they called him up. I think there is a good chance for Maidana to be back.
Yeah, I don't expect Barnes, catch 22, either he's healthy and gone or he's injured and not on the plane anywhere.
Rico for the armband please Coach Coyle. Another road test for our new to each other team. I would rather have MLS avoid these FIFA mandatory dates, but this will occur in time. DALE DYNAMO!!!
Match preview: http://matchcenter.mlssoccer.com/ma...couver-whitecaps-fc-vs-houston-dynamo/preview And some of it is correct: VANCOUVER WHITECAPS vs. FC DALLAS BC PLACE, Vancouver, British Columbia March 26, 2016 (WEEK 4, MLS GAME #33) 10:30 pm ET (MLS LIVE, TSN, ROOT Sports SW) It also says the game is at 9:00 pm CT and 10:30 pm ET. That is a tricky time change.
We went a few years back before they had reconditioned BC Place and were using a temporary stadium. To my mind, Vancouver is the most beautiful city in North America, if you like Indian food, Vij is the best place to try it outside of London. A trip to Victoria is a great day trip. Vancouver is a preclearance station for Customs and Immigration, US CBP are stationed in Vancouver at the airport and the clearance is done prior to boarding the plane. When you land in the US there are no further inspections (unless of course they determined that you are a fugitive and then you'll have a courtesy meet on arrival). I'd strongly urge anyone who has an opportunity to see Vancouver (and the exchange rate is very favorable right now).
Vancouver is year round mild weather. This would actually be the start of the dryer period of the year there. Summer would be best, little warmer, even lower rain chances. Winter rains or snows 2/3 of the days, right now about half, wait til summer 1/5.
You're sooooo English. Victoria, gardens, curry, etc. What do you got against French Canada? Btw, I've been so busy at work that I fcked up. Mexico plays Canada in WCQ on Friday and Dynamo plays Vancouver on Saturday. Would've been a great double header. FCK!!!
Gonna go with a draw simply because VAN are missing a lot of players. That and maybe our defense will have improved in a week.... ...awwww who am I kidding? 3-3 draw
With as many players out in Vancouver's starting lineup and in particular there defense, I can't see how he doesn't score again.
