Nice that we’re furthering Berhalter’s career and confidence.

I’m going to have to think seriously about not getting the MLS package next season. This is as much fun as getting a crown with no numbing…

I guess bad things can also happen when you put Leroux in.

Also, watching Vieira refuse to run down a ball in the box, giving Mueller an open shot on goal, just infuriated me. Vieira is truly worthless, he only looks scary in person. He doesn’t seem to do anything.

The Quakes are not a very good soccer team. They were easily outplayed the whole game. A win would have been highly, highly improbable given the way the game flowed.

Many if not most of Bruce's additions didn't move the needle. He's got another year to try to fix it.

PBP guy called Benji "Floriani" about 10 times. :facepalm

Mine was free all year as a T-Mobile customer, I'm not sure I'd pay either unless we get a new owner and some new life. Still baffling that we shipped off Hernan Lopez like that. Seems like our season started to tank after that.

I expect Fisher insisted on trimming the budget and Hernan, who was already on the outs with the coach, became the fall guy.

We probably make the playoffs if not for that stupid move.

Five goals on the season for Beau. Who could have possibly predicted that?

The way Bruce couldn’t settle on a starting roster , and the fact that the players look so lifeless and rudderless, makes me doubt his cognitive ability.

What does Noel Buck actually do? I've watched him play maybe 6 times, including a good part of games with The Town. I still don't know what he's good at. A pretty good passer I guess? But slow, and not a ball winner, he's just kind of taking up space. I think Nick Fernandez and Cruz Medina are better, not to mention Beau. When Buck and Fernandez have both played with The Town, Fernandez has easily been the better player.

I thought Benji did pretty well on balance. At least he was fighting, and for most part he neutralized that Ahmed guy. He did commit that one dumb foul on Ahmed which led to Vancover's first goal. But when I look at our players and - who's really fighting and at least some of the time winning his battles, Benji was one of the few.

Roberts did pretty well, and Floriani was OK. It was not one of Bouda's best games.

We looked pathetic. Props to Beaux for the goal and for actually giving a damn.

Given that Beau scored our only goal, and we lost, maybe Beau gets the start next week?

Bruce on why Beau hasn't started matches recently. Maybe Beau should try to put on a little muscle mass over the offseason. Seems to me though, the times when Beau has lost the ball it's been because he held it a bit too long. So to me it was more a speed of play thing. Of course we don't know exactly how Bruce thought Beau was at times "struggling physically". Is it speed, is it strength on the ball, or is it lasting thru a long season. Or all of the above.

“He's still a young player. He needs more experience. When we brought [Ronaldo] Vieira in, that challenged us to have somebody lose a spot in the midfield. We chose Beau in that situation, because I thought at times Beau struggled a little bit physically, it's his first season at this level.”

Bruce is an idiot. Beau has been our best midfielder all season. You want to talk about losing the ball? Take a look at Harkes. This is bullshit. Bruce likes “his guys.” He brought Romney in late and put him at CB, moving Munie out to the right. Clever that.

Beau scored our only goal yesterday. He’d damn well better start next weekend.

    I’m pissed!

    Go Quakesfans!!
