Our guys haven’t given up. They’re still trying. Which is a positive. Well, up to the final whistle that is.
We had some good individual play from our defenders, but we still looked disorganized. Also, our middies and forwards kept giving the bal back to Wankouver. They pressed us all over the pitch and we wilted.
Leitch needs to go. When you compare players position by position against any team we play against, including those we happened to beat, our quality is inferior. Daniel may be the only one on par with the best. Hernan and Espinosa have not been playing well. This is what you get with the quality of the players we have. The players did what they could and they fought. But their level will only reach so far. On top of that. the other teams keep bringing in better players. Even their subs are better than our starters. Leitch is responsible for putting the team together. Fisher may be frugal but Leitch has not done his job. I would not trust Leitch for the offseason or rebuild. He needs to go.
2-0 loss and our keeper will probably make team of the week. Vancouver xG must have been 8 billion. Towards the end, one of the announcers said the Quakes are not deep enough to compete against the best in MLS. Dude, they are not the deep enough to compete in MLS period.
Glad I watched the highly entertaining El Trafico instead of this appalling sh*tshow.... hopefully the person who posted on here a few weeks ago that Fisher planned to do a full housecleaning in the offseason and get rid of both Leitch and Russell actually has some inside information...
It wasn't that bad. Earlier in the season this would have been a 7-0 loss. Bouda almost tied it but got called off side. That would have made for a different second half.
I'll watch the highlights later but no way I'm sitting through the full 90 minutes of yet another multi-goal loss
