I think it was intentionally dry and brief in a tongue in cheek way to make the point that there's not much to say about our crappy team.

 

Our section yells, "Richard Simmons!" when he runs by...

 

I'm sure that's a culture reference he'd get . You're about 40 years too late and 6,000 miles too far north.

 

It ain't for him. It's for us and we laugh every time!

 

I can't imagine us winning this one.

On the road? Against a well organized, disciplined team? We're screwed.

I’m peed that we’re so shitty.
I do think that we’re doing better with Ian at the helm. I want Ian to remain our coach.

Now we need to ditch some players and sign some good guys to replace them. Gruezo needs to go. ‘Brough needs to go. Probably Jackson (gk) needs to go. I might not re-sign Rodrigues and go with Wilson and Munie as our starters. Beason and someone else as backups. Ditch Pelle? Maybe. Dump at least two of our forwards.

That’s just a start.

Jackson, Gruezo, Judd, Ebobisse, Baldisimo, Thompson, Richmond, Akapo, Skahan, Pellegrino, Marcinkowski, Yarbrough, Morales and Walls all need to be replaced and upgraded.

 

we all want various players out and better players brought it......don't have a lot of confidence that our owner/gm have the knowledge or the willingness to pay better players....more often than not they replace mediocre with mediocre. Hoppe isn't resigned and in his place we get Judd.......

 

There's more deadwood on our team than in any burnt-over forest in California...

 

At least no one can say that our team is not reflective of our general geographical area.

We actually won that game, and I remember Vancouver coach Sartini basically saying in the postgame - I don't know how in the hell we lost that game. It was 19 shots to 3. It was one of those "steal one on the road" games.

 

Well, I’m glad our guys are practicing, but we need some new guys.

And are we practicing on turf? Because the field in Wankouver is BogusTurf(tm).

Not optimistic.

Our guys need to be more focused. Last game we just didn’t have it together. We need to show some passion from the opening whistle. I think our guys have taken a mental beating this season and I think it’s hard for them get and stay motivated.

Sartini’s guys really believe in what he’s doing. He’s got them all singing from the same hymnal.

I may not get home on time to see the game. Maybe I’ll catch it late.

At what point do we lock in the wooden spoon? I looked into wooden teaspoons, and they are affordably priced on Etsy, but might require 2-3 week turnaround. I will order them if 3 other people volunteer to help hand them out in front of the PPP entrance before the Oct-2 or Oct-5 game.
