Just thought I would give this a bump given that Vancouver is now one year away from MLS. The Vancouver Southsiders are very much on the go. This past off season, a vote was held to formally organize. In January an executive board was elected, which each director responsible for a specific area of expertise (i.e. event planning, tifo planning, websites & blogs, etc). We are about to relaunch our website and publicize our membership drive. We are also in frequent contact with the front office to ensure that our views are heard and our game day needs are met. New website launched! www.southsiders.ca In other news, the Southsiders will be featured prominently in the Whitecaps new print ad campaign for 2010. About 20 of us were asked to help out with a photo shoot yesterday, and the ads should be coming out in about 2 weeks.

The southsiders, due to personal budgetary reasons, are mainly busers or carpoolers when it comes to away support. So, i dont think you will find takers to buy a plan ticket to STLouis. But it is a very nice offer of you.
Hey shiek, shut it and speak for yourself only. The Southsiders have made plane trips to Montreal and other places... No need for veiled ugly remarks about the southsiders. You have no idea about us, have never taken us up on our offers to meet or come to tailgates etc. Beat it!
You have no idea what you are talking about, so I simply ask you to refrain from talking about the Southsiders. You simply posted an opinion or claimed-to-be-fact that the SS'ers do not travel, when some have in fact gone great distances to watch games. You don't need to weigh in on every topic, especially ones pertaining to a group that has no idea who you are behind your username, and a group that you have never interacted with. I am right here. please stop making comments relating to the Southsiders.
