Another damn draw. Seems like it's becoming a habit. Vancouver was awful the entire match except when we gave them a goal, and we only get 1 point.
Disappointing result. Yet again. Feel like our lack of a truly dangerous 9 really showed up tonight. We lived in their final third but consistently found no one home.
MOTM is Wilson for both teams….. sadly. Not a good result. You have to collect max points at home during the homestretch of the season. These draws could come back and bite us in the ass with playoff positioning. We are on an unbeaten run but man… it doesn’t feel like it. You don’t want to be draw specialists.
No, you don’t want to draw specialists. Was at the game, Vancouver are terrible, disappointing result.
Man that’s just a disappointment. 4 out of our last 5 games being draws? Anyone of those turning into a win changes things big time. And it’s not like we didn’t have the chance tonight? Wilson’s bad giveaway doesn’t happen and it’s a different ballgame. Barrios hitting the post? Lewis skying those two snap shots? Namli’s ranged efforts just missing? Galvan’s curler just barely getting blocked? Namli’s late run in the box and Barrios’s ball barely gets clipped by the defenders calf blocking a clean through ball to an open Namli? Heck, even that time three shots in quick succession blocked? We were getting into really good positions so often tonight. We just couldn’t find the back of the net. Aside from the finishing, passing was off too. Players you expect to be clean, weren’t. Galvan had a couple howler passes, and even Kaye gave away possession pretty easily a couple of times. Hopefully we get out of this funk soon. Better to get hit in the mouth now than in playoffs, but man. We gotta get things moving. (Side note, isn’t it crazy that we’re actually disappointed in the run of form in a 10 game unbeaten streak that’s lasted since the end of July?)

Can't really add much in the way of insights from the match. Rapids seemed really to be in control until the gift they presented the Whitecaps. After that Vancouver gained confidence and were threatening on the counter. At the same time the Rapids were able to get some real quality chances they just couldn't convert. Just like everyone else here, I left very frustrated. Here's Fraser's take on the tie last night - Here's the transcript of Robin Fraser's full response to my question about #Rapids96 getting a draw in three straight games from a winning position and whether he's concerned about the trends in the performances/results: #COLvVAN #MLS pic.twitter.com/YiqLX7exEI— Matt Pollard (@LWOSMattPollard) September 20, 2021
Prior to last night, I wasn't on the Namli bandwagon. I may be open to changing my mind. He was really doing a great job of facilitating the attack with a nice balance between individual effort and getting others involved. Now, if he can just improve his work on defense a bit. Last night saw a 1-1 draw, but a very promising development: The return of Younes Namli.@FlemingSport and @marcelobalboa7 break down #COLvVAN 🎙 pic.twitter.com/02RrHkiDfj— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) September 20, 2021 It was great to see you back on the pitch, Younes 👏#Rapids96 pic.twitter.com/2eQHzfrMTk— Colorado Rapids (@ColoradoRapids) September 20, 2021
