EA Sports named a Whitecaps FC Founding Partner

Looks like we'll see the EA Sports logo on Whitecaps jerseys (and possibly tied to their stadium?). This should be embarrassing to a team from Silicon Valley who can't get a tech company to step up and sponsor us. It makes sense since EA Sports has an office headquarters in Vancouver (I walked by it surprisingly when I visited several years ago), but I just wish ONE of the many, many tech companies that I've walked or driven by in the SJ area would step up to sponsor/partner with the Quakes. Do these companies not want their name on a stadium???

I thought "Bell" was the Whitecaps shirt sponsor? It is on the shirts they show on their website. And BC Place Stadium is going to have more than just the Whitecaps as a tenant. I would think any stadium naming sponsor announcement would be by who owns and operates the stadium, which is the government.
