Shaun White was the favorite to win, absolutely no competition. Scott Lago was pretty good, too. All in all, SW has been the best for years and he's only 23-years-old.

That baseball swing was the biggest blunder. WTF was Brodeur thinking?

USA owned us. Miller is a machine. Made some key saves.

of course we have a good team. isnt it "our game" according to the canadian media. but yet we are going to play russia in the quarter finals.. wont be easy.. if we lose this just adds more embarassment to an already epic fail olympics.

but its ok everyone knows Canada are the eternal champion of ice hockey, we beat the russians in 1972 after they took our beer and thats all that matters.

I still remember Lemueix passing to Gretzky in 87.....

Thornton is a choke job, he's been attempting to "find his stride" in key games for the past fracking decade.

Heatyley has been good though, leads the tournament in scoring ffs, just take him off the dead weight line.

Also, what the frack is Perry doing there? the comical encounter of him knocking down 2 other of our own players during the game pretty much sums him up..not to mention Kesler diving past him to score in the empty net.

Jeff Carter and Stamkos would have been much better inclusions in hindsight.

Pronger is a pylon out there, wake the hell up.

    Also Brodeur.....it's LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU's time now.

Germany-russia-Sweden/Slovakia(saw slovakia vs russia in person adn the slovaks are REALLY underated)- Finland/USA/Czechs

    Do you believe in miracles?

CONGRATS to Virtue and Moir, fantastic. Shes pretty cute as well;)

Love the way Moir celebrated like a wold junior winning the gold medal in hockey belting out the anthem, almost falling off the podium after it, and throwing his flowers everywhere:D

makes me feel better inside after yesterdays failure...and the failure of the hamlein brothers in speed skating, both coming last in a 5 person final:(

Also, for those of you in Vancouver, go to Russia's House....the women they brought over to host and showcase their motherland are seriously talented..if you catch my drift.

I forgot Marleau as well. Horrible. Hopefully it isnt the case this year. Blackhawks and red wings will be tough if we face them.

Blackhawks can get handled, Red Wings are the perfect hockey breed. Zetterburg is a beast.

The good thing about this season is that we're not peaking as early so hopefully, we can pull something off. The Ducks series last year was embarrassing. At least Nabby looks a bit more solid.

He was the biggest difference in the game. Canada didn't played that poorly but Brodeur let them down. Now they have to win four games in a row to advance. USA will probably make it to the Gold medal game as they have an easier sched.

Ratings were huge for hockey, 8.2 million tuned in on MSNBC, which is really good for that network. USA vs. Canada for womens hockey, who wins? Does anyone care?

*Bode Miller wins Gold for slalom.

*Meryl Davis/Charlie White finished second in ice dancing. Moir/Virtue the gold.

He is second in team Canada's all-time leader in points scored with 62, Wayne Gretzky is on top. But I agree, Marleau and Thornton are busts.... Yzerman should have included more younger players with speed.
