I think that this game will we the key game of "la liga". If the Real Madrid win i think that we'll win "la liga". But if we lose and the Real Sociedad win "la liga" is over.

The last years, the Real MAdrid vs Valencia games have been very hard games with a big rivalry, even bigger than the games against Barcelona.

Tomorrow will be a big atmosphere against the Real Madrid in Mestalla. The Valencia is playing to be in the CL the next year. If we win the game we'll forced them to win the Real Sociedad the next week. But if we lose, they will play more relaxed against the Real Sociedad de next week.

I hope that i'm wrong but i'm not very optimistic about this game. I see more dificult this game than the game against the Juve, and against the Juve we lost. I repeat, i will be very very happy if i wrong.

    ¡HALA MADRID!

Agreed. If Real Madid loses against Valencia, I think Real Sociedad should be able to beat Valencia.

I just don't think Valencia can beat Deportivo, Real Madrid and Valencia in succession.

No question this can be a determinative weekend in Spain. What will help all 3 title contenders is that both Valencia and Celta have plenty to play for themselves so they won't be falling over when playing the top 3 (Valencia proved that last week).

These are like 4 finals for each of the contending teams and they should be thrilling. It definitely won't be easy for Madrid but they have the team to at least get a tie in Mestalla (hopefully more than that). A tie would be alright for Madrid (especially in Valencia) but a loss would be devastating. Now is the time for Madrid to show what they are made of. Let's get it on!

    Madrid 2-Valecia 1

There are 2 reasons we won this match, one is of course il Fenomenon and his genius.

But I think the second is because Pavon came back to the team instead of Hierro... the 2 central defenders struggled in the first 20 minutes, but once they settled down, they looked far more solid than Hierro and Helguera did as a combination. The second half performance was just magnificent, especially after Valencia was so strong the first 30 minutes of the match.

Figo... i wish they would sell him, i can't stand him... and just when I feel that it will happen for sure, he comes and creates 2 goals, with the second pass being pure genius.

    Ratings:
    Casillas: 7.5
    Salgado: Offensively an 8, Defensively a 6
    pavon: 7
    Helguera: 8
Roberto Carlos: 5 (very, very quiet game)
    Figo: 7
    Zidane: 7
    Guti: 6
    Flavio: 7.5
    Raul: 6.5
    Ronaldo: 8.5

But a strong performance by a great team...

On another note, I hope there won't be any "conspiracy" theories because of the Salgado handball. Yes, valencia deserved a penalty and were robbed, but not as much as malaga against Sociedad last night. First they were denied a penalty for handball, and Sandro got a yellow card for pointing it out (btw, it looked like he was giving the card to someone else, not sandro). Then to add to that, sandro gets a second yellow when he didn't even touch De Pedro and gets sent off. So not only is there no penalty, there is also a joke of a red card after which Sociedad score 2 goals when they were easily the second best team on the night!!!

We must hope they drop points against both Celta and valencia, because Athletico will probably do something like play a reserve team against them. Also, I'm sure Bilbao will try and make it tough for us on the last day... why can't we have some Madrid love like the basque love :)

    The fight for La Liga!

Real Madrid only could draw with Celta, with a great Raúl´s goal, even when they dominated all the game and had a good chances to goal. Not a good luck for Los Galácticos.
There´s a tough situation in La Liga for RMadrid, now Real Sociedad draw with Valencia 1-1, Madrid still with the chance and for us to have another white cup.
