The football is terrible but we cant expect anything else from this squad,i gotta say the midfield was trash as usual but now as trash as when Jude is there......just saying i dont miss the most overated player in the world at all

A deserved win IMO, thanks team thanks Coach, not the most exciting game especially the first half but i think we controlled the game well, clean sheet to boot and at a venue we don't often win at, comfortable with this win, need more from the midfield....

Play Jimenez or Fede right back and try Trent in that right midfield position,yes its not his position and hasnt worked that well for England but having Mbappe and Vinicius in front of him could be different try him

 

Glad we got the win. No point rehashing very obvious limitations in creating from midfield. The Fede-Tchou-Cama midfield is an eyesore when it comes to any sort of forward play. Without that moment of magic I think we struggle to win this one. Trent being back helps a lot, and that midfield overhaul in the summer can't come soon enough.

In good news, Valencia with 0 shots on target despite having 4 forwards on at the end. I'm glad that turd Hugo Duro didn't get a goal. Our first time in 13 years keeping a clean sheet at Mestalla, and we are, incredibly, the best defense in La Liga right now too, with 18 goals conceded.

Will be interesting to see who Rudiger comes in for once he is back in action. For quality at the back I consider Asencio a better defender than Huijsen (but that's not saying much), although it feels like we need Huijsen's passing qualities much more to open up defenses when we have such an unskilled midfield duo/trio.
