Well, well, well. Once I get over my "Where was this Sunday?!" I'll sit back and enjoy the restored hope.

I'm actually now really anxious to hear about the exploits of folks traveling to the Bizarro-world known as Baku. Surely there's a musical or a buddy road trip movie to be had from this!

I think Unai realized that there's no real quality beyond his first choice XI with all the injuries. So he made a calculated gamble in saving his 1st choice for the EL.

    For now, it's paid off.

At this point, if he's pouting for coming off and being replaced by Mkhy, I sure as hell hope it's because he knows he was sh*t and he needs to find another level.

IIRC, since the inception of European club competitions in the 50s, that this is the first time both Spuds and Arsenal will be involved in European finals in the same season?

Will the finals be on TV FINALLY??? If so, I will get DISH to come out and fix my goddamn DISH 311 receiver ASAP so I can be tuned in to it on the 29th!!! COYF'n'G!!!

For THE FIRST TIME SINCE 1994 (European Cup Winners' Cup) we are in a European final!!! What a way to end the season!!!

If we get Chel$ki then I might have to skip listening to Paul Hardcastle (or any of his other projects like Jazzmasters (1991-current), Kiss The Sky (1992), and First Light,(1982-84) as Paul is a Chelsea fan) building up to the Finals in Baku, as to not exercise conflict of interest.

This unfortunately, also includes his newest #1 hit single, "Happy Go Lucky" (from Hardcastle VIII), in which has climbed to the top spot on both Billboard's Smooth Jazz charts and also on Alan Kepler's iHeartRadio Smooth Jazz Top 20. :( I really dig Paul's music, and I was also given a Top Fan standing on his official Facebook page. BTW, He knows I am a Gooner, but I do dig all of his music, both his electro-funk and smooth jazz work, especially "Rainforest" and of course "19"

No I don't think it was that. He seemed pissed off with Valencia fans or something.

I'd have laughed in your face if you told me on Monday that Arsenal would be the only team to successfully hold on to a first leg lead this week.

OOPS! I almost forgot we made it to the UEFA Champions League Final back in '06, the final year the good folks at O2 sponsored our kits (also the final season at Highbury).

113th minute at Stamford Bridge, STILL 1-1 I'm getting kinda nervous about them perhaps going to PKs to decide OUR NEXT VICTIM!!!

Frankfurt has had 2 goals (both from Haller) cleared off the line from a defender.

AET: it's a dead heat at 1-1 we're going to PKs to decide OUR NEXT VICTIM!!!

At least Didier Drogba is no longer in the EPL, I remember he won the UCL in 2010 beating Bayern Munich at home on the last PK of the bunch, let's hope Frankfurt pulls off some mojo here!!!

PK commentary provided by the Chelsea official site, so please excuse their blatant bias.
