The Santander match was the first match I've seen live in MONTHS and look what happens. I have no plans of watching anymore matches live until the end of the season, including this one

    :( :(

What to say about this game?

We lost against Racing, they won against Sevilla. The motivation is obviously on their side. I dont expect more than a draw from this game.

However i believe in Miracles :)

I acctually dreamt about a shock 4-1 RM victory. Becks with the first, freekick ofcourse. Ruud with the next 2 and Robinshow with the killer in the 90th. But when Villa converts a PK in the 3rd min, none of ya'll be worried.

Awwwwwwww, only if this wish came true.

We got robed the other night. I have just calmed down now.

We really need to win this game at least for 2nd anyway. Barca have won the league. Them jammy clows i really hate barca i really do.

I want to think we can win this but i know we cant. 9 losses coming up i think. God i hope it's not a 3 nil loss please no.

The problem is is that Capello has been unable to motivate the players when there has been things to win. How is he gonna motivate then now with nothing to win.

Game over. As far as i'm concerned.

And the ref will be on the catalans side again.

Beautiful thread as always nuff_said, although the cross hurts. :(

The bastard referee not only ruined our last game, but he managed to ruin THIS game also. At the last 5 minute, he decided to send off Helguera AND Mejía, leaving us with NO CB option against Valencia. I think he wanted to send off Cannavaro too, giving him a yellow for protesting about the penalty. He just couldn't find another opportunity to show Canna another card.

So what can we do but to move Ramos to CB, and of course - playing Salgado on the right!!

    Well done twat!

Nah we still have Canna. I just said the bastard referee must had decided to sent off all our CB but he couldn't find the chance on Canna except that yellow for protesting. He manged to send off Helguera and Mejía though.

So what can we do but to have Salgado on the right. *worries*

Not to mention because the team totally freaked out after the penalty, they had to fight back hard and thus leading to Higuaín's injury!

Just when the team were gelling well the last couple of matches we are suddenly running out of options for this important match. Isn't it brilliant, the referee manages to ruin our last game, as well as THIS game.

    So it might look like:
    Casillas
    Salgado Canna Ramos Torres
    Diarra Emerson
    Reyes Raul Robinho

I guess Guti and maybe Gago might get the starting places .. And is Torres back already ?

Reyes does pretty well against big clubs .. And does a decent job tracking back as well .. So i'd keep him on ..
Robinho as a 2nd half substitute looks like a possiblity ..
Will Cicinho make to the bench atleast ?
Another good 'Ramos @ CB' performance required ..
Cannavaro has to be really good ..
With Morientes and Villa always a danger, closing down has to done effectively by Diarra and Emerson/Gago ..
And Capello has to realise having a ONE GOAL LEAD is not enough, against any fcuking opposition, to sit back and defend ..

Well then, it looks like that will make two of us not watching live. I'm going to be gone Saturday. I had hoped the game would be Sunday like some sites are reporting :(
