Lost to winless bottom club Las Palmas 2-3 in Mestalla. Although Valencia put good pressure on early, they lost the plot due to strong goalkeeping from former Valencian Cillessen, and poor Valencia defending. First goal was Pepelu PK who was later sent off with a red card. Second came way too late, 90+4', Tarrega from Gaya assist.

I don't see Baraja surviving this disaster. Segunda league on the horizon, massive player sales next spring. I won't be watching this club live anymore this season. Waste of time. If they ever win a match, then I will consider a replay.

    Goals - Assists
    Pepelu 1 - 3

Resorting to a 5-4-1 formation, Valencia got a 1-1 draw away to Getafe. Barrenechea stabbed in a Rioja corner for the goal, and then Getafe were gifted a 90' PK to take away the potential victory. Sigh.

Week 12 match against Real Madrid and Week 13 match against Espanyol were canceled due to the DANA devastation. Also, their midweek cup match has been canceled twice. Not even sure if Valencia are back on the training ground yet.

Valencia beat Real Betis 4-2 at home in their first match since the DANA tragedy. Goals came from Tarrega (Duro assist), Duro (Guerra), Duro (Guerra), and Diego Lopez. They looked rough at times, but 3 goals in a 7-minute spell in the second half secured the points.

    Duro 4 - 1
    Pepelu 1 - 3
    Lopez 2 - 1
    Tarrega 2 - 0

Second string lineup against 6th level Parla Escuela:

    Dimitrievski
    Santana, Gasiorowski, Cordoba, Vazquez
    Guillamon, Pepelu
    Perez, Valera, Canos
    Dani Gomez

First half, only goal was a free kick from Pepelu at 20'. GK had his hands on it but the ball squirreled away from him.

My two Spanish sides met in Mallorca with the home side taking the win 2-1. Valencia's only goal came from a Rioja PK. They attacked 11 times down the left side (Gaya), 4 times down the middle, and 0 times down the right side (Foulquier). Valencia are in desperate need of a new RB.
