Vaca called up for national duty

    Joselito Vaca has been called up for the friendly against Mexico. Unfortunately, this is more like a Bolivia "C" team, with only Vaca, Tecos Forward Jose Alfredo Castillo and defender Raldes, one of the few who can expect to be on the pitch for a Qualifying game. It will be interesting to see if Vaca is given the #10 to handle this game, as it has been a long time since he has been called for national team duty...he has been forgotten in Bolivia for quite some time now.

    Does this mean he wont go to Chile? also, Isn't Bonsue going to his Nat. and not going to Chile?

    Good luck to Joselito. Even if this isn't his nation's best 11 it has to be a great honor to represent them.

    Little Joe,

    Be careful out there. Mexicans have this uncanny ability to take cheap shots. For visual display, watch the US vs. Mexico World Cup match. Cobi Jones barely survived their headbutts and cleatings.

    Vaca was in Chile until a day or two ago and then headed back to Dallas to get ready for this game.
