Maybe a weird question, is there anyway to get a Bunyodkor jersey here in the states? I emailed the team but I never heard anything back.

good luck with that... my wife couldn't find an Uzbekistan NT jersey... even in Uzbekistan... so I don't think you're going to have too much success getting Bunyodkor in USA

Yeah, I didn't mean buying it in the states, I just wondered how to get one shipped from Uzbekistan. The team never responded to my email. I really want the blue one.

glennaldo_sf - There are 2 shops of FC Bunyodkor in Chilanzar region of Tashkent, one is just in front of the new Bunyodkor's stadium, and the other is in Tekstilniy, which is 5, 6 minutes from the stadium by car. There you may find the NT and Bunyodkor's jerseys.
CCSultra - you may have it by DHL. If you want I may learn the price for you tomorrow.

OK, I called the club today, and they said that at the moment both of the shops are closed, because of the new stadium they are building. And so, at the moment we may buy the jerseys only on that days when Bunyodkor plays at home. The price is 6000 soms. But they sell it to resellers, since they don't have a shop at the moment. So I think that the resellers sell it for 6500-7000 soms, which is approximately 4,2$ with current commercial rate. Plus the postal costsof DHL or you do freight collection :)

Any idea on how much it would cost to ship it to the United States?

No Idea, you may ask it by calling to DHL, or the best way is to do a frieght collect in your country.

Vadim Abramov has changed Mirdjalol Kasimov and become the new couch of Uzbekistan NT.

Totally Uzbekistan NT won 4 matches (Malaysia 3:1 2times, Qatar 4-0, UAE 0-1) draw 1 time with Japan (1-1), and lost 5 matches (Bahrain 2times 0-1, 0-1; Australia 0-2,; Japan 0-1and UAE 0-1) with Kasimov. Very poor performance.

We had also FM with Iran 0-0, Bosnia 0-0 and Azerbaijan 1-1 and Korea Republic 0-3.

I think disapointing results were losing to UAE in a game which meant nothing, but lets face it, you want your national team to win all games no matter what and the two defeats to Bahrain, they would have hurt.

I think the change of coach at this time is a good move. Just need a good preperation for Qatar. So, maybe a few more games against East European nations and maybe a few friendlies actually in held in Qatar to get a feel for it.

Come November/December there will be the usual 4 team tournaments kicking about around the region so Uzbeks should look to be involved.

I do have a good feeling about this nation going for glory in Qatar. The last few years or qualification groups for World Cups have always had Uzbeksitan as a fancied team, possibly with too much pressure on them. Qatar, the focus will be slightly away from them, so they could have a good run and cause a surprise against a East Asian team playing in unfamiliar tertority.

Yeah, he is the only one in Uzbekistan at the moment who is induvidually showing a wonderful football.

Druryfire: We need a couch from abroad like Hiddink, who can change the looks of the players into football. Our players do not believe into their power, they always afraid of something. So I don't think that Abramov can bring something new to our football, I think that he will be changed in 2011 to Scolari.

Do you think Scolari has the hunger to lead a nation like Uzbekistan? He's 61, and only ever managed one European club team, surely he is more hungry to lead another major European club side before he would take on the task of leading a Central Asian nation to glory?

He came to be a coach of an Uzbekistanian club, so why not to become a coach of NT. He would never come to Uzbekistan if he wouldn't be offered such big amount of salary, so I think that if our fed officials offer him a good wage again, he will probable continue to work in Uzbekistan. And also once Scalary said at one of the press conference that he would return to Brasil after the WC 2014.
