UVA 5-0. The score was 0-0 at halftime and the first half UVA looked really sloppy. Also the first half Hartwick's goalie made some impressive saves. He was also MASSIVE. They switched in the sceond half though, and then UVA started to come together a little better.

Eskandarian had two goals (he's now up to 14 goals in 9 games), Ryan Gibbs had one, freshman Phillip Long had one (his second of the year), and Ryan Kelly got one too. Jake LeBlanc had a pretty rough game. Last year he was a fairly good player, but so far this year, minus the game on Wed vs. Marshall, he hasn't contributed too much that's positive. Arena sat out again, and freshmen Joe Vide and Hunter Freeman both started and had pretty good games. Freeman didn't play as well tonite as he did the first two games I saw him in, but still a good player, and Vide had some awesome touches tonite.

After the shaky start, UVA pulled through after halftime and managed to hold Hartwick scoreless for the shutout.

Thanks for the report, Courtney. Hopefully George can settle on a line-up, and stick with it as we head into the 2nd half of the season.
