The game was rather mundane for long stretches. There appeared to be not too much effort in the first half, with play picking up in the second half a bit. Cavs seem to deploy a different midfield each game. Today they played a 3-5-2. Oliver was out of the game. At the start of the second half, spurts of energy seemed to appear. Vide seemed to be trying to get the others going with some hard tackling and hustle. Good scores by Holder (first of career) on cross from Hartman and by Littlefield on free kick by Hall. Burke played solid in goal. Liberty tried to make a game of it when they converted a PK at the 77th minute. It was not elegant, but it is a win for the Cavs. Some more notches in the win column should get them entry into the NCAA tournament.
