    I went to ChatGPT to see if my impression was wrong. I just shared what I found. There are solutions, but they are structural and do not address today's issues. College and Club soccer are competitive environments that prioritise the now over the future. NWSL getting young players is something, but what is the developmental environment for those players. The most physically advanced of them will be ok, but the rest, unlikely.

    As far as todays rosters go, you can only pick what is available.

    Koga has looked really good for Tottenham this season, and she's only 20.

    That was the preferred pairing for the U-20 team in 20/21 under Harvey. So happy to see Kennedy doing well. That team would have made noise in the WC, but alas, COVID

    It didn't come of anything, but I really liked the US shape and how it forced an eventual Japanese turnover.

    Apart from that 5 minutes or so of the goal and just after, the US has looked the better team all match.
