"Anyone attending a Hammerheads game at Legion Stadium cannot fail to notice the presence of the Port City Firm who are always grouped behind the opposition's team bench."

Actually, I think that that was CC that told GE that.

Either way, it's right. Honestly, I think that we would've been too focused on heckling the scrubs and not enough on the game on the field.

Why don't you drive down to San Antonio?

It's only an hour (or less depending on traffic) - good luck

Actually, we had over 4,000 fans at last Sat.'s match which is good for a div. 2 team and our group of supporters that drum and chant is small but growing (maybe 30 last match but sometimes as few as 12) we are no Inferno yet but we are working on it. I wish we had the honor of hosting the game having FC Dallas here would be the biggest match of the season.

    As for our better players:

Kevin Nylen #33 (forward) played w/ Charleston Battery in 2003
Derek Popovich #20 (midfield) played w/ Atlanta Silverbacks
Junior Zarate #15 (midfield) (Mexico) plays in Mexico in 2nd divison I think
Leo Krupnik #16 (defender) (Ukranian) played for Metrostars in 2002
Anthony Wright #11 (defender) (England) played for Carlisle United in 2004
George Corrie #10 (midfield) (England) played for Workington Reds
James Gledhill #7 (forward) (England) played for Univ. of Alabama 2004

Our coach David Irving played for Everton.

Will the drums be present for this match? I recommend a group of get to the game early to claim a section of bleachers so we can stand for the 90 minutes.

4k for a USL II team is *awesome*. Good stuff. Personally, I wish the games were driveable for either groups fans....

Keep up the good work, no matter what happens on the 13th.

They actually mentioned the USOC game in the memo about the meeting. So they definetly are aware of it. I'm sure they would have moved the meeting if they could have. So hopefully what you are working on is a way to get us the info without actually going to the meeting and not being fined. If you do, I will refrain from making fun of you for a period of 2 weeks. It will be hard, but you will have deserved it.

So, if I can see to it that you, Chris and I can be at the USOC game w/o being fined, you will refrain from making fun of me for a period of two weeks?

    Deal.
