Congrats to the revs for a well played match. That was an entertaining game. Real end to end stuff. Not your typical 1-1 or 1-0 borefest that so many cup finals end up being.
On a related note to Craig or whomever may be lurking on here from the organization... I have two requests. 1. Bring the trophy out before the fans before the game against Columbus. 2. We need some sort of banner, flag, etc with this on it. We've waited a long time... it's our stadium too. If we win something like this, let's brag about it. Even if it's only out for Revs games, there should be something in our stadium that says "2007 U.S. Open Cup Champions".

Congrats to the Revs fans on your victory. It would've been nice if we (FC Dallas) would've won it for Lamar Hunt. But I'm glad that ya'll finally won your first trophy. Congratulations! BTW I betcha Monty is partying, drinking & smoking at the Irish Rovers at this moment.
Sweet, sweet victory. Damn that felt good for a change. I'm still beaming at just the thought of all this. Congrats to all the players, coaches and personnel who got us to this, they really deserve it. Dunno if I can sleep yet...oh well! wooooo
Congrats to the entire Revolution organization on the U.S. Open Cup Final win because they deserve this championship more than anyone. I am so excited for everyone (players, coaches, mgt, fans) because we have come so close the last couple of years but kept coming up a bit short. Now that we have made that leap forward we must continue and strive for another piece of silverware, which is the MLS Cup. Hopefully we can add the U.S. Open Cup banner to Gillette Stadium or to our future new soccer-specific stadium.
Gee Evan...where did you get that tagline idea I just got home now, there were plenty drinking another pint or two after you left, and there were still a few left at the PL when I took off around 11:30. The best was when they had to turn up the sound on the Red Sox game because we were singing too loudly. There was actually a table of random people there who thought all our singing was cool. What a great night!!!

Congratulations to Revs and their fans. If there is another MLS team I would want to win it, it would be NE. Lots of respect after I saw them in the MLS Cup last year, and a great group of supporters. Well earned.

No, thats the MLS Cup and the Supporters Shield. But I have a feeling you guys have broken the curse and you'll win the double. Which is fine with me because the Galaxy aren't going to do much even if they do somehow make it into the playoffs. Congrats on your first trophy.
