Second round tonight at Blackbaud Stadium. ticket $5 West Stands only open for this one.

Battery looks to have everyone healthy for this match except Jackson who is still out with an ankle injury

I imagine Auggie will go with our usual starters.

Carolina played a match on Saturday but from the reports it looks like they might have some injuries or were resting a couple normal starters. it will be interesting to see who starts but you can be sure Matt Bobo will be on the Carolina back line.

    Watch the match here

Offense vs. Defense, Battery take on Railhawks

winner moves to the third round and takes on the Chicago Fire in chicago next week.

    Nicely done, guys.

(At least I'm assuming it was nicely done. I have evening class on Tuesdays and couldn't watch the feed.)

thanks. I felt like Carolina was going to sneak in behind our backline at anytime.

you can usually watch the archive of the match a bout 24-36 hours after the match at USLlive.com so maybe you can tell me if the third Battery goal was offside or not. it looked good to me....but of course it would

Rudolph Mayard and Lamar Neagle scored the goals as the Charleston Battery knocked the USSF Division Two Carolina RailHawks out of the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup Tuesday night at Blackbaud Stadium in front of 1,409. With the win Charleston advances to the third round and will play Major League Soccer’s Chicago Fire in Chicago next Tuesday night (June 29).

I'll be sure to check it out; Carolina/Charleston's a fun match to see even if you know how it ends.

Good luck against the Fire next week.
