Viewing at Codey Funeral Home in West Orange 3-5 & 7-9 PM. Services 11/20 @ 10:00 A.M. Final words: "I only regret that I have but one stadium to build in my county". Oh, sorry, thought we were discussing the SSS.

    You're talking about Nick, right?

I don't really care too much about the game itself? (sorry)

The game is a trot-out for would-be nats; I expect to see a b/c team take the field. If Jamaica beats us they have a chance to advance, depending on the other matches. A tie for them won't do it.

We are in regardless. If we lose with an experimental lineup, doesn't matter, and we get to gauge our depth. The real point of the evening is to drink $3 pints and vent. For me it's less NIck and more the whole situation, especially Hudson county politics, which is as dirty and corrupt as it gets, according to Jersey buds here at work.

USA Qualifier Match viewing for USA v. Jamaica, Wed., Nov 17th, 7:30PM

The US plays it's final game of the first round Wednesday as it travels to Columbus to host a Jamaica side one loss away from missing the next round. A US win and a win by either Panama or El Salvador, and the Reggae Boys take the Ricky Williams vacation into the sunset. The game is live on ESPN2 at 7:30PM, and NY, Jersey and CT soccer fans will be watching from Nathan Hale's Bar and Grill in NYC.

Metro Criag Ziadie will be in the squad for Jamaica (like you needed another sign of impending US victory), while the US lineup (unannounced), rumored to include a number of younger uncapped players, will sport the 1950's Retro jersey. (you can see them online at http://www.ussoccerstore.com/mntjerseys.html).

U.S. Men's National Team vs. Jamaica- (World Cup Qualifying - Semifinal Round)
    Columbus Crew Stadium- (Columbus, Ohio)
    Live: 7:30 p.m. ET on ESPN2

Come down, hang out, down a few beers and watch the USA take out Jamaica live. There will be beer specials and good food, so please bring a friend and have a great time.

Nathan Hale's is conveniently located near the 1/2/3/4/5/6/9/A/C/E/R/W and Path trains in downtown Manhattan. (Chambers St./Park Place/City Hall stops).
