US under-20's defeat Jamaica 4-0. A better result with a couple of days of practice together.

dang, i guess i didn't look far enough down the titles of threads in the youth section to see that someone had already started a thread on this. well, if a moderator sees this, they can kindly erase the thread i started in youth national teams, inadvertently competing with this one. anyway, this was a pretty nice result. it seems like this Kamani Hill kid and Will John have been doing some damage. does anyone have some serious info on either of them?

If you jump over to this thread on the Men's College and Amateur page there are first hand accounts of Will John

Kamani is local boy in Berkeley and I read one article about him in the local paper but haven't get chance to watch him play.

only seen him at club level but he's always impressed me as great natural striker.

Good receiver of the ball, good turning, off-the-ball work, striking, all of that stuff. A striker and not an ACM.

I played highschool ball with Kamani for the Berkeley High team. He could really rip it up. We had an astroturf field (the old style, like carpet over cement) and he was by far the fastest dribbler and overall player. We were pretty good when I played, but we didnt end up winning NCS, which is the leauge tournament for "North Coast Section". The year later, when he was still on the team, they won the whole thing. One thing that i can tell you is that every year for four years of him being on the team our record improved. He was a very valuable asset to the team and provided excellent touch as well as being a VERY potent striker. if you can find info on our season, you will see that he scored like 35 goals...crazy
