what's the plan for Turner and Horvath? One has barely played for his club this season while the other has just been relegated to England's 3rd division.
It's not all up to them but if they want to make the WC team they may have to sacrifice some salary and drop a level (Turner).
I like the idea of Quinn going to the Eredivisie. He has solely been playing on a murder ball team so exposure to a different tactical style while adjusting to living overseas in a league he should be able to succeed in makes sense to me. I mean if he gets bought by a lower table all action pressing, playing against the ball BL team who don’t care how well he attacks that’s different.

❗️ Juventus are monitoring some midfielders for the summer and one of the names is Johnny Cardoso. These are the ideas for the Juventus management, but there are no contacts and negotiations for the moment. Johnny is valued at €30M.[@_Morik92_] pic.twitter.com/o4uTjN9VcT— USMNT Otaku 🇺🇸 (@USMNTOtaku) May 10, 2025
I'm pretty sure Johnny has enough sense not to go anywhere near Juventus. LaLiga suits Johnny pretty well as far as I can tell and Betis are a good team. I guess it's always gonna be attractive to move, for a player who gets a raise in the process, but his situation is otherwise ideal at Betis.
🚨 Liverpool have made contact with Hugo Larsson’s representatives.Frankfurt want to sign a midfielder and Wataru Endo is one of the names on their list. (Source: @BILD) pic.twitter.com/W8i7MtD7d1— Transfer News Live (@DeadlineDayLive) May 11, 2025
Spurs has the option to sign him, and that would be worse than Juventus or Betis..................... USMNT news and rumors roundup for May. 10: Tottenham to take up option to sign Johnny Cardoso and more Tottenham Hotspur are on course to trigger their opportunity to purchase Johnny Cardoso during the summer transfer window as influential figures at Hotspur Way are adamant that the Real Betis star's value has already risen since they initially agreed a deal less than 12 months ago." I saw some rumor the other day, I guess originating in the Spanish press, that Johnny wasn't interested in joining Spurs.........................
That tweet says that this info comes "Via Jurgen Klinsmann". Maybe there's interest, but I won't hold my breath given the source of the information.
It's from his interview on the CIWYW podcast. The exact quote is "some Serie A teams have him on their radar."
JKJR is 6-4 and athletic enough to start the game by jumping and touching the crossbar with the back of his shoulder. If he plays well, which he seems to have, he'll get looks at higher levels. Kind of a Cade Cowell sort of deal.
Yeah and as much as he was a jerk about Donovan it was years ago when he was a kid and our keeper prospects at the moment are weak. "IF" he somehow does move up to a Serie A club and actually plays and plays well he's in the picture. "IF" doesn't seem likely but I haven't watched him and keepers are weird birds that develop later.
His numbers at Cesena are nothing special, either in shot stopping or playing with the ball. GK do develop later, so perhaps he's improved, but perhaps he's simply having a decent season in Serie B.

The kid has some nice technical abilities but he sure seems like he is too slow to ever really excel as an 8 in top 5 Europe. I would like for him to prove me wrong.... just not as high on him as some others are. Kind of like McGlynn... but at least he has one aspect of his game that is elite (I.e. his ability to shoot and serve dangerous passes w/ his left). Is there any trait that Ben brings to the table that projects as a legit plus? He has a good motor, he is tough and creative enough on the pass and dribble.... just does a lot well but nothing that stands out to me.
Rewatchin the Jan Camp games, Benja seemed to have Adams-like lungs and range. When you add solid skill, he seemed to me like a possible 6 long term.
