Seattle has been paying 2 DPs to be mediocre for the last 2 years. I’d find it pretty rich if I were Jesus for them to ask me for a discount after they paid Ruidiaz 3 million bucks to take some penalties.
I don't know if "You made some crappy decisions in the past so make another one for me" will convince the Sounders though...
Depends. If Jesus extends and isn't a DP.........................that's a gamble I think quite a number of clubs would make. And Jesus, unlike Paul Arriola, would have potential resale value.
Ruidiaz getting old was an unforeseen event as he very suddenly started aging at a rate of one year per year
They had to bench 2 DPs down the stretch in 2023. Ruidiaz was paid 3 million to be a backup in 2024 because they didn’t want to buy him out. The kid they brought in from Argentina was hurt or recovering all year and didn’t produce. It’s very rich that they’re going to act like they don’t take health risks at the DP level all of a sudden.
Tolkin to Anderlecht? Never seen this account before so grain of salt 1868729708025987181 is not a valid tweet id

Why not, other than they're a bunch of ****** ****** ****s? He'd be competing for a place with Neco Williams and have a chance to play in the Europa or Conference League next season, or even, God forbid, the Champions League.
It would be an interesting data point. We haven't had many American players go to the EPL directly from MLS. Aidan Morris' recent move to Middlesbrough is more common. That route has been trod by others such as Dike and Trusty.
