Rocco is a Juventus fan. In fact he tried to buy in to Juve before he bought Fiorentina.

Due to the Fiorentina "rivalry" (it is a one way thing), he has to act like he is forced to deal with them, but both clubs have done good business in the past.

That kid is ridiculous. To have such a comprehensive set of offensive skills at that age is impressive, and he makes them all look easy (except for when he trips over his own feet and still dusts his mark).

At this point I really don't give a damn where he goes as long as he is playing!

eh........it's a big club with lotsa games and different tactics. If the cards don't fall right in this turnover year for Juve (new coach/players), he'll be in a good position to get a good job playing soccer for a new club needing a wb next summer after expiry of 2 yrs on his contract and he'll be a better player for it.

CBS just signed new Serie A contract. I think there's some goodwill value in the offers from McKennie having to do with media expectations and McK is good click bait. I don't think Ligue1 is thinking that way which means Mck's actual football skills, such as they are, remain the question. Musah, otoh, is still very young and I could see where Milan and Lyon might have different vantage points when assessing his value.

I dont see Gio in Ligue1 but who knows?

One thing I don't understand about Italy and the offers they are making. Would McK get less money net if he accepts the same salary due to expiration of the subsidy for foreign players in SerieA or is it the club that picks up the tab? It's complicated because the subsidy expiration grandfathered in existing contracts. McK has one year left on his contract.

Weston is proven successful at Juventus, as recently as last season. He will have interested parties in Serie A.

If they were interested in “clickbait” they would bring in Reyna, who attracts more attention.

That is a good question and the impact of the expiry has not been fully sussed out yet. Hopefully we will get some quality reporting on it soon as it is going to change things for Italian clubs and foreign players going forward.

Looks like dual-nat McFarlane may be on his way to City. He was born in the UK, but moved to the US when he was 3. [Also, Jamaica eligible if I remember correctly.] Has been in USYNT camps, but is provisionally cap-tied now to England after playing in the 2023 U17 Euros.

We talking about phili as fc Dallas east, snd rightfully so…… but nyc has a solid pipeline too. Friggin sands to rangers should have never been an 18 month loan. That era was profoundly stupid

Mateo Stickler, from Miami, has moved to Empoli of Serie A. He may be one of these quad-national types. American-Peruvian-Austrian born in England. Seems more and more common.

Here's a youtube video with him.

Not a surprise he’s going to City being at NYCFC, but if I were a young player and Brighton wanted me I’d be jumping all over that given their track record. Along with Brighton being one of the best places to live in England.

you are right clubs are just clamoring for him. clubs are really into guys that can't regularly crack lineups and get moved around a lot. some people think clubs want guys who are really good at something nope below average at a bunch of things is where the real edge is at.

Fab reporting that Fulham are signing Jorge Cuenca, a LCB from Villareal, which if true, means that Tim Ream should be signing for Charlotte shortly.

He can't regularly crack lineups? What are you even talking about?

He played nearly 3000 minutes for Juventus last season.

He was one of the best players....................on Juventus. Not Forest Green Rovers.

Weston McKennie will find a home. I'm sure there are a lot of things going on behind the scenes that we're not privy to.
