    His nickname is "Freddy Adu". Not sure what the origin is.

    "Bradders?" Ugh! He should ONLY be remembered as "Big Bad Brad."

    Reyna = Captain America
    Cobi = Cobijones (ko-bee-HOE-nays)
    Donovan = Baby Jesus
    Clint = Cletus (or "Cleatus")
    Kirovski = JoKi

    Most newer guys don't have nicknames yet - we should devote ourselves to devising them ASAP. Most in need of nicknames: Josh Wolff, Bocanegra ("Blackmouth" is one I've heard but think is dumb), Bobby Convey... With that haircut, Kyle Martino is screaming for a nickname. "Jesus" is taken though... How about "Patchouli" or "Stinkin' Hippy?"

    Eddie Pope, Eddie Lewis, Earnie, Kasey, are some veterans who never got nicknames (or I just never heard them).

    On a side note, I'm SO glad this was not a thread about making a nickname for the National Team. Those threads really suck.

    IIRC, most fans in C'Bus call him "K-Mart." Of course, that came before he grew his hair long.

    From the Chris Berman School of Athlete Nicknames:

    - Josh "Lone" Wolff, if only because Josh "On Injured Reserve Again" Wolff takes too long

    - Chris "Try To Get By Me And I'll Rip Off Your" Armas

    - Brad "Nobody Rides For" Friedel

    - Kasey "Serial" Keller

    (this, from the same guy who brought you Jason "Jesus" Kreis...)

    (How about Charles Blackmouth?)

    (Patchouli is great-or Keith Partridge)

    "Patchouli" is kind of long. How about just "Patch" for short?

    Who can forget ABMOD (ok, we want to)?

    Corey Gibbs= Battle Spider

    Wynalda = Waldo

    Balboa = 'Celo

    DMB= some of the alternatives besides DMB(P)= Jitterbug, Gumby

    In Dallas we always said "Jason Kreis, Superstar" although that isn't terribly compact
