So...........we indeed have 5 CONMEBOL, 2 CONCACAF, 2 AFC, and 1 CAF nations represented in the round of 16.

And the 6 UEFA teams all play each other.

Out with the mediocre Euro sides at this World Cup. It's refreshing.

Has anyone found the whole 32-17 "finishing order" anywhere?

and now the opening show before the main event. Assuming we do move on, i think i slightly prefer Uruguay over South Korea. South Korea reminds me alot of our team (and the Japanese team), they play very well as a team. a few stars, but no egos and work for the common good.

Serious keeper blunder, and it can't be blamed on the ball this time.

Uruguay really are Argentina-lite. Very strong and create one hell of a nuissance on offense, but they can be had in the back.

South Korea keep pressing forward, but they've got to be wary of the counterattacking abilities of Uruguay. SK's chances to win may be greatly diminished if they go down 2-0. Good stuff so far from both teams.

Not if you're playing handegg. Or even rugby.

You're right though. That is a seriously knobbly field.

That was a NICE Korean move. Too bad it only yielded a corner.

Korea's creating real opportunities and I think there'll be more if they keep the foot on the gas. But the finishing will have to be clinical and it hasn't been yet.

Not enough power on that header, but that was some pretty attacking play.

honestly think South Korea is the better team. Would much rather play Uruguay than the South Koreans if i could choose so hopefully this result holds

and on that note South Korea score, that was most certainly coming. 1-1. May th rest of the match continue to be scrappy with a few cards going into a shootout :D
