Damn. Dest should definitely come to the US to get treatment from someone like Jordan Morris' dad, or whoever worked on him.
Whoever works on the the best US players regardless of sports would be my choice. How quickly do say NFL running backs, wide receivers or cornerbacks take to come back from that sort of injury. With Earnie in charge he has to know whether Dest should pick a Euro doctor or US doctor. I
According to my wife who is a massage therapist, all muscular problems cause compensation issues. Typically the new problem will be directly up, directly down, front to back or left to right. For example a pulled shoulder blade might cause problems in the pectorals because of the compensation in posture.
Evolution is like those crappy software upgrades that must keep backwards compatibility. We're not really made to walk on two. We just have a bunch of patches that with some luck work well enough until they don't.
The problem is that any sport involves high energy movement in one or two particular postures repeated again and again. Some muscle group somewhere is getting abused. In the case of soccer there is a lot of crouching and kicking with one particular foot.
Other national teams have the same injury issues we do. The best nations have the depth to cover for it. That's the difference. France at the last World Cup is exhibit A. Look at how many injuries at team like Liverpool has gone thru this season..................... We have to expect injuries like the Dest one to happen. Time for somebody else to step up.
Any updates on Marlon Fossey. I see that he has a knee injury but no idea on when he’s supposed to return??
Cremaschi back on the field last night. His injury likely cost him a chance at the Olympics. Hopefully he's with the U20s (along with Bajraktarevic). Impacto inmediato de Benja! 🤩 pic.twitter.com/T6ziKomDLc— Inter Miami CF (@InterMiamiCF) April 28, 2024
He can be. Its just a very small roster, and its crowded. Booth is also back. Taylor Booth returns for Utrecht today as they visit Waalwijk. He’s on the bench.- the U.S Olympic hopeful last played on Feb 18 when he was injured in a game against Twente. pic.twitter.com/zrmqVyG08H— Brian Sciaretta (@BrianSciaretta) April 28, 2024
Bullet dodged.............. 🗣️ #Hasenhüttl: Kevin #Paredes was lucky that his knee remained stable and that his lower leg - apart from swelling - did not suffer any damage. He is back in full training and is therefore back on the pitch.#WOBSVD pic.twitter.com/OpbKwqMCc1— VfL Wolfsburg EN/US 🇬🇧 🇺🇸 (@VfLWolfsburg_EN) May 2, 2024
🇺🇸 Olympic hopeful CB Maximilian Dietz (22) is forced off with an injury just 6 minutes into Greuther Fürth’s match today. Could be a big blow to his hopes of being on the plane to Paris 🇺🇸— American Ultras Talk (@ameriultrastalk) May 4, 2024
Jalen Neal started for LA Galaxy last night! So he seems to be fully back. Reviews of his performance were positive. Maybe he can get on a roll and prove he's the best U23 option for the Olympic team. LA Galaxy Starting XI: GK John McCarthy; D Miki Yamane, D Jalen Neal, D Maya Yoshida ©, D Julián Aude; M Edwin Cerrillo, M Gastón Brugman, M Diego Fagundez, F Gabriel Pec, F Joseph Paintsil, F Miguel Berry
Tyler Adams is back We'll have some players return for #BOUBRE 🙌 pic.twitter.com/QqmN8IkM11— AFC Bournemouth 🍒 (@afcbournemouth) May 10, 2024 Though maybe don’t play him 90 minutes.
