Saturday, September 27 @ 7:30 P.M. Sacramento Republic FC vs. Harrisburg City Islanders Throw out the records and the seeding, because it's down to one game of skill, desire and the ability to defend and finish. Glory Glory!
I was hoping we would make it to the championship, but I never thought we would be playing Harrisburg at home for it. Talk about huge, they took out Orlando and Richmond. There is something to be said about their team, and I guess it should be don't underestimate them, even with our squad, even at Bonney Field.
Once you get in the playoffs, itts all about which team gets hot, and RR's are on fire lately. I'm a bit worried that we have only scored goals during the run of play in one of the last four games (Wilmington). All others (that I remember) were restarts or PK's. This should be a good game, but I can't imagine it being any more dramatic than last night.
The crazy thing is we played Harrisburg City in our first ever game in Sacramento, and we lost 1-2...
Sorry I meant Harrisburg is "on fire." Reading soccer articles and writing forum replies at the same time is dangerous when you're old. [emoji1]

Monster PR turnaround for the Republic!!! They are now issuing the final tickets to season ticket holders at no charge according to facebook!!! (I didn't see the STH email as I'm in a STH group but pretty sure that's what the comments mean - this is way beyond what I expected)
No email yet but you're right, according to the comments on Facebook, Twitter and Reddit the team will not charge STHs for the tickets.
Full letter: http://www.sacrepublicfc.com/letter-season-ticket-holders-regarding-championship-tickets/ They did right. They should be commended.
I certianly did not expect this. I figured from the day of the WBA game that we would have to pay for a 3rd playoff game if we made it that far. I think I'll "pay it forward" and donate an equal value of food to the Sacramento Food Bank.
I've already paid for my tickets before this came out, so hopefully it can be credited so I can donate. So disappointed I'll be missing the game (wedding that night), but I'm giving mine to a few friends who I have slowly converted into big soccer fans over the last few years.
Think your good sugit - everyone who has been mentioning the same thing on facebook has been told they can have a refund or a credit against next years season tix...
Just in case anyone was interested in what the holy grail, rather, the USLPro holy grail, looks like.
Trophy looks like a bootleg EPL tropy but dammit Sacramento needs it! Was anyone else able to pick up tickets through the presale? I lucked out and got 7 tickets for my family and friends.
Nah, nice run by the Islanders, but I think it all ends Saturday. Knock-on-wood. BTW, why is your Adios thread locked? I thought it was pretty clever.
