I have a feeling the next two games will be mid-teens ~ 13-15K, followed by mostly 8K sellouts when the team moves into Cal Expo (Bonney Field)
Penguins home playoff games really kills the Hounds attendance. That said it was a better turn out that I expected.
I'm glad you capitalized literally. I might have thought 13 was an estimate otherwise. You know what's funny about the Rochester game? The Richmond game report said 4,653. The report on the USL site says 6,385. Quick averages: Sacramento - 20,231 Rochester - 6,385 Orlando - 4,877 OKC - 4,230 Charleston - 3,324 Pittsburgh - 3,078 Richmond - 3,015 Wilmington - 2,945 Arizona - 2,907 Charlotte - 855 OC - 847 LAII - 778 Dayton - 775 League - 2,889
Maybe 1700 more showed up for the Hall of Fame ceremony? Anyway, I'm glad Arizona's doing well again. And I'm interested to see how things progress for Sacto and OKC.
I guess they didn't compare notes while they were finalizing a # to "announce" 95% of fans at yesterdays opener were sitting in the "north stands" ....the side that was basking in the sunshine and warmer, so it looked better for the live youtube stream. Usually its the opposite where you could LITERALLY count a few hundred in the north stands.
So does my CAPITALIZATION take away at from the fact that there were all of 700 people at the season opener?
My comment was directed at my club's (Roc Rhinos) two announced #'s that KennT noted......I didn't view Dayton's match , but I'll take your word for it though.
No. The fact that you constantly have to harp on your animus towards USL Pro and then emphasize it by saying you LITERALLY counted that many people (we'd have taken your word for it, Sparky) takes away from your overall effectiveness as a member of the community. We get it already. You're butthurt because the NASL hasn't come together as quickly in OKC as you were all geeked up for. Get over it. Your capitalization also doesn't take away from the crowd in Sacramento. Or Oklahoma City. Or any of the other cities that are doing pretty well, despite your constant anonymous grandstanding. No, I meant Charleston, my bad. Charleston played at Rochester. The news release Charleston sent out said the crowd was 4,653. The Rochester report said 6,385.

Eventually I'll have the 2013 Final Numbers updated with the <1k, >3k. Should be a good week this next week.
