    Hey fellas,

Do you know of anywhere the USL 1st Division would be broadcasting live (or tape delayed) matches?

I know FSC used to show matches on Fridays during the summer, but I dont see any upcoming games on their TV listings.

The USL 1st Division, as such, doesn't exist anymore. USSF D2 does not have a national TV contract. Some teams have local TV, and there is online streaming.

Weird. I figured something was up because I went to uslsoccer.com and clicked on "first division" and it brought me to a schedule for USSF Division 2 with all the same teams.

Is the USLlive.com site where games will be broadcast? Or do you know of a better site.

Check Wikipedia for the quick scoop if you haven't followed the D2 saga.

I think the best place to look is the teams' websites.

That's something of an unfortunate name for a USL show, considering how the NASL came to be.

The USL pays FSC for TV time (believed to be in the neighborhood of $30,000 for each match) to air matches and highlight shows.

The USSF apparently didn't want to pay FSC for TV time to air D2 matches during the regular season.

That is understandable given that the average soccer TV consumer won't pay attention to the domestic leagues in the U.S. until the World Cup is over, at the earliest.

the cost I heard from someone within out club was $10000 per match. the Club could recoupe some of the cost by selling ads during the broadcast.
