Johnny Cardoso starts because Tyler Adams is injured, Nathan Harriel gets the start based on what Also how bad is Damion Downs if he's the only one of these forwards who can't get a game
good q Yo why the hell is Nate Harriel on this national team— USMNT Report 🇺🇸🇹🇷 (@USMNTReport) June 11, 2025
Poch needs to quit and go to Spurs. Either that, or he calls out Pulisic and other team leaders for letting Americans down - and follow it up by sweeping the Gold Cup and not calling them up this Fall. I think it's one option or the other. (0-4 Switzerland at halftime, the US team is booed off the field). 4 losses in a row. Embarrassing. Beasley: "The is the worst the US has ever played." If the US loses to Trinidad, Pochettino must resign mid-tournament.
Beasley: "I'm kind of shaking I don't even know what to say. I've never seen a US team play that bad."
Hercules Gomez does not like. I am going to get tagged in the WR forum pretty soon. Embarrassing stuff from the USMNT. Switzerland can smell the stench of fear all over the Americans. 36 minutes in 0-4, and the boos come out, and rightfully so. #USMNT— herculez gomez (@herculezg) June 11, 2025
I have… remember the Trinidad and Tobago first half? total disaster. Pulisic almost got us back in the second half. problem we have now is that we have a coach who can’t coach a national team. he should stick with club football!
I ask again HOW BAD IS DOWNS Poch is having Agyemang warm up and not Downs 😂— Edgar (@ConcacafEdgar) June 11, 2025

Beaz also mentioned the lack of slide tackles that first half. I mean the Swiss had more goals than we had tackles. Marinate on that one!
i'm not going to compare first half to the second half - a result is a result. The whole team (including the coach) were embarrassed tonight.
I hadn't read this anywhere. Source? I didn't hear anyone mention it during the telecast, but I only started watching around minute 20.

When you say a player can suck terribly for what is likely 7-8 straight matches and you'd still guarantee them a slot, what does that word mean?
I have always said Friendlies don't matter. However it's our style of play I don't care for. It's worse than Berhalter's. Back pass anytime you get the ball all the way back to the keeper. Play out of the back no matter what. Get caught in possession and hoof the ball to a 50/50 battle in our own half often in front of our goal. We don't score any more often than we did under Berhalter and we give up about twice as many goals. We can't be even the weak teams in Concacaf without a struggle. I say we have a year, lets go another direction.
You don't want us to play out of the back and you don't want us to hoof it long? We actually hoofed it long a whole bunch against Switzerland; it was clearly the gameplan. Not a great one because we don't have the striker for it, but the gameplan. The level of backpassing is on the players.
That's not what I said, read the post again. I Said we play out of the back no matter the situation. We then get caught in possession and have no choice but to hoof the ball but in a bad position which often results in a 50/50 ball in front of our goal instead of in the opposing team's half. The backpassing was so prevalent that it had to be in the game plan
What i would actually like is some variety. Sometimes we play out of the back and sometimes we hoof if
