I don't like the midfield whatsoever.

I like the look of it. Fabian pushes forward form the left, Mikey will play box to box with Edu and JJ protecting the back 4. No problems with this lineup. It should cause some problems.

I think we can put more central midfielders in the lineup

Interesting. Will save judgement for now.

Glad to see Beckerman not in the 11.

There's no way this is a 4-3-3 as reported by that tweet

USA essentially playing a 4-3-3 with Torres and Donovan on wings with Boyd in middle. Jones, Edu, Bradley triangle #usmnt

Maybe they both drop deep like a 4-2-3-1?

Kinda mystified by some decisions here, but we'll see how it works out. I'm interested in seeing how Cameron and Boyd play this evening.

    From Grant Wahl:

Scotland lineup: McGregor, Bardsley, Mulgrew, Webster, Caldwell, McArthur, Phillips, Brown, Miller, Bannan, Maloney.

I have no idea why we are playing so defensive. Torres on the wing is not the problem. One of Jones or Edu needs to be subbed out for Corona.

I'm thinking its going to be more like a tree formation; 4-3-2-1

Basically a Christmas treee with Torres playing where Dempsey would. Its fine I guess. I was expecting to see Corona for Dempsey's role because I though JK had Torres penciled in the starting line up. Otherwise its very similar to how we played against Italy.

That twitter video really threw me off and now I'm not quite sure how to read that.
