Absolutely outrageous that this game is not being played at the same time as Colombia vs. Costa Rica.... if this one ends in a draw, and then Costa Rica beat Colombia 7-0 - I'll be mega-pissed!

Paraguay is a much better team, but I'm not sure they get the result. USA has an ability to stay in games they're being outplayed in like Ghana, Germany and Belgium in last WC

Yep, and this is pretty much how they beat us, too.

 

I could see that coming. Paraguay came out running too hard and they ran out of energy a little bit. They should have been more cautious and slow the game down to take the crowd out of the game and start hitting them with the counter attack. They had 90 minutes to score the 1-0 goal ... Now they have to score 2

 

I cannot for the life of me understand why both Costa Rica and Paraguay have betrayed their style to play open-game against the US in their turf.

 

Paraguay really wants to start their summer vacation

 

I hope this is not the case with Ecuador too..

 

This is exactly what the USA wanted this half. They hold only ~40% of the ball, but they've also only allowed one shot on Guzan (at the 44' mark). The back four has been excellent, but the USA midfield looks lost out there.

This is very direct, physical stuff from the USA. It's like Bradley is coaching this game.
