He is notorious for bad positioning. That was freaky but he did not need to be there. No need for it.

He's one of the Kops, though. He's not without a share of blame.

It's a defense mechanism by these type of US fans that for the past few years have been hyping up the "Golden generation". It's there way of putting the blame on someone else and never accept that the players they hyped up were always mid.

If we didn't have US owners owning clubs in Europe we wouldn't have so many players in Europe giving false hopes to USMNT fans that we have a golden generation.

Cowell was at fault for the NZ goal. He doesn't know how to play with teammates. Look at where Cowell is. Who is he defending? What would he be attacking - we are not in possession.? Sure, Wiley is a joke and has the assist on NZ's goal. We waste so much time on players who give games away.

Musah, Tilman, Cowell, Wiley - for me these players make the game harder for teammates than it has to be which can waste precious windows. McKennie is an obvious one, too, but he wasnt in this camp.

Question: Which player do you think will be Pochettino's "mistake"? I think it will be Tilman. His career is just so expertly managed. A bad product can nevertheless be easy to sell and Sometime Tilman is a good example.

Balo looks like he grew an inch this window. The guy needs to start thinking about how many 9's are actually able to compete in a WC at his current age. He needs to start learning, working and doing. Sarge is fragile. The next WC has an extra game and USA was dead beat by the 4th game in Qatar under Berhalter. Summers in USA are hot these days.

I'm where I was at the start of camp except : I got to see Morris and it was very nice. He can play in all 3 sections of the pitch: dmid, cmid, cam. We need to exploit that. Varas studiously avoided giving Morris and Johnny time together as a double pivot but I suspect Morris + Johnny will be our best bet going forward. Aaronson should play as a forward and press. For that reason he has to learn finishing. I suspect CR is best as a right or left cb in 3atb system. Our cb situation is the one that needs the most profound analysis.
working off my pre-window best xi, I add Morris for Musah - the difference in quality was glaring.

literally what does that even mean? If anything, I’m generally timid about disclosing my enlistment. Someone asked, I answered. I have no hero complex, nor do deserve one. But someone literally rocking a nut off in a FOB porta potty has done more for the country than plenty of others. Of course there’s a hierarchy……getting shot, experiencing a TIC, going outside the wire, deploying, serving in general. I'm very aware of where I am in that chain. And given the amount if intel weanies like me who never deployed, notching two is pretty dang good. And yeah I never over brag because I know a check down is no more than two phone calls away. It’s still orders and magnitudes above plenty of others.

The tone around here is,way too negative. The score should have been 2-0, except fpr a bad call and a fluke. In a game that ee dominating, playing second and third string, that's fine.I thought performance/intensity were acceptable. The goal that counted was well worked, with great spacing that prevented defensive help.

Thought Fossey and Pepi stood out, and Balo deserved a goal. Turner got caught in no man's land.

Even the 2-0 scoreline would have led to discussion about how we looked to get there. It would also not have made up for the garbage showing against Canada.
Poch has some work to do.
